Define and maintain ethical, editorial, artistic and technical standards for all news programming

 Ensure effective deployment of resources and exploitation of new technology 

Manage the news department budget including annual planning, monthly monitoring and routine handling

 Set goals and monitor performance of news personnel 

Manage the news staff and decide on the recruitment 

 Responsible for attracting, developing and retaining editorial talent

 Lead and navigate teams successfully through organizational change

Work in cooperation with the senior management to support the channel mission

 Serve as a member of the channel management and executive team, sharing responsibility for the ongoing operation of the whole company

Represent the channel at various national and international meetings and committees

 Contribute to the development of the channel content strategy

 Perform additional duties and take on special projects as assigned

WORK EXPERIENCE

 Minimum of 10 years related experience including at least 3 years in news management

 Experience in social media and digital platforms management is an advantage

EDUCATION

Minimum bachelor’s degree in journalism or in a related field
